Iraq? — Curious

I am curious not only of your perspective but your country's perspective. I am curious what Canada and Sweden say of it. What do they say in the newspaper of it?

I am not very sure on this topic. I don't think we should do it. We don't have the support of other countries. We would be going solo and we would look bad.

We don't really talk that much about it, It's just been election in Sweden, so everything in the papers are about politics. Or dead climbers. Guess we stand pretty neutral, but I personaly say: Down with Saddam, for god's sake he deserves it!

But I agree with Arky, Swedeb stands pretty neutral about the conflict. At least politically, but reading the news it's pretty clear who's side we're on (No not Iraq you numbnut, USA!

we should not go in it alone. This would set a new precedence for the U.S. Never before have we been the aggressor (militarily) and what is to stop us if we go in it alone? BUsh has yet to convice me that Iraq is an URGENT problem, I believe it is a problem, but shouldn't we worry about Al Qaeda first? The typical response to that is "there are Al Qaeda members in Baghdad." Well THERE ARE MEMBERS ALSO IN DETROIT AND NEW YORK! Shouldnt we worry about internal problems first?

Good point, but we would be hitting two birds with one stone. We would take out the al queda along with Saddam which has always been a threat to us.

I disagree with Hobbes. I think we should accept death than attack Iraqi because it violated the chirstian and many major religion. I think We should learn accept our death so we will be fine because we follow the teaching of Jesus.

Honestly, I don't think that we should have to blow up the Al-Qaeda or whatever. The terrorists are only setting up in the Middle East and many people in the US and crap are now racist against the so-called "terrorists" which are really innocent citizens of the Middle East.

As Saddam Hussein who I like to call Sodamn Insane, I think he might as well act as one of his suicide bombers or untrained militia because we are going to blow is ass off.

Sad for all people support war aganist Iraqi or hunt the Al-Queda because it can prevented but our stupid politican decide to sad events to happen. Someday, we will be cry over the dead. This event not perform by Iraqi or Iran but unexecpted country who we befriend with. We are blind, we lose the verison for postive and negative. If we set a war, maybe Al-queda people happy because they want see blood and orphans in america. We let they get the victory because they not matter by their death because they believe their death is benefit to them but our death and painful experince to us that would make them happy. Why we should give (bleep) to politicans? They are warmonger and they will taste the glorious of common people's death and they are coward. I would happy if every career politican would gone from my country because they just want win a election and make deal for next election. They not care bout american while other kind of politican try improve the our status and education. American have many problem while other country wont help us becasue they think we are stupid or warmonger. Maybe this possible Iraqi War will be second Vietnam war but this war will be our problem and other country will hate us for this. Afghanstian War has begun the chain of wars that would be terror our generation and our child's generations. Who we will blame?

I agree with Johnny. Though they may not be as well trained or as well equipped as our infantry backed up by helicopters and bombers, they will send bullets into some of our troops' limbs. They are trying to prove that they can significantly damage our morale, our home support, and other things.
