Mega Man — discuss any Mega Man game.
Well, seeing as the Mega Man saga is one of my favorites, I decided to take Capcom's famous game and turn it into a forum topic.  I currently own the following Mega Man games:

Mega Man
Mega Man VI
Mega Man Xtreme 2

Nice little collection, eh?     So let's cut to the chase!

Just as most every Mega Man maniac out there knows, Mega Man was probably Capcom's first big hit.  Mega Man was built along with six other robots, Gutsman, Cutman, Elecman, Fireman, Bombman, and Iceman.  Dr. Light created all the Humanoids along with Dr. Wily.  However, Dr. Wily reprograms all of the robots but Mega Man in an attempt to take over the world.  Your job is to stop him from doing that.  (No spoilers)
However, in Mega Man II, it is the year 20X5 and Dr. Wily comes back with an arsenal of eight more robots hand-built, Airman, Quickman, Woodman, Clashman, Flashman, Metalman, Heatman, and Bubbleman.
I don't remember the stories from III, IV and V because A) I haven't played V before and B) I only rented III and IV for three days.  But since I do own VI...
In Mega Man VI, a Tournament featuring eight of the world's strongest robots is about to go on, but the sponsor, Mr. X, takes control of all the robots in, yet, another attempt to take over the world.  He has been manipulating Dr. Wily from the beginning, and now he says he can do it himself.  The eight robots are Flameman, Windman, Blizzardman, Plantman, Yamatoman, Knightman, Centaurman, and Tomahawkman.  You eventually square off with Dr. Wily in the end.
So discuss storylines, games, anything about Mega Man here.  Have fun!

Well, honestly, I always thought the plotlines to Mega Man games were pretty weak.  I played them for fun, but the stories just didn't matter.  I mean, didn't they end up killing that Wily guy like three or four times?  I dunno...

But the Mega Man X games did have a bonus...kinda.  They had better character development, albeit in a strange fashion.  Watching Zero and X work through their pasts and strange mix of humanity and inhumanity was kinda fun.  Especially in Zero's case.  (I'd go into details, but that's the only part of the Mega Man series that is worth not spoiling, so I won't.)

But all in all, there really isn't much to discuss about that series.  Not much I see anyway.  But maybe it's just me ^.^"
I only played the NES games, Megaman I,II,III,IV,V,VI.

By those I only finished I and IV.
I agree with Shajde, no real story in any of those. But I still found the games pretty fun. Though part VI was impossible according to me, I couldn't beat the bosses.

I know Karate, Taekwando and Jujutsu, but I wont fight you

I don't know Karate Taekwando or Jujutsu, be angry at someone else!

*sniff*
The icons are teasing me....
I think their so boring
I cant understand how you like the game

Fear is the path to the darkside,Fear leads to anger
Anger leads to hate,Hate leads to suffering.
Beware for me and my Sithbrother Lord Arkmam
And don't forget my sis Teddy or my bro Setzer
Its cult. And some of the bosses are so stupid looking that you laugh as #### (centaurman etc.)

Well, of course there were some robots that I thought were pretty dumb looking myself-Woodman from II, the frog-like one from III or IV-but yeah, of course Capcom could've spent more time drawing these guys, but it's an 8-bit system, what do expect?  16- or 32-bit graphics on an 8-bit system?  That's beside the point, as for the bosses in VI, I recommend the following if you ever play it again:  Flameman, Blizzardman, Plantman, Tomahawkman, Yamatoman, Knightman, Centaurman, and Windman.  Flame beats Blizzard beats Plant beats Tomahawk beats Yamato beats Knight beats Centaur beats Wind.  It is logical until you reach Tomahawk and Yamato and Knight and Centaur.  Which can be confusing.  Be sure to get the B-E-A-T parts from Tomahawkman, Yamatoman, Knightman, and Centaurman.  Go to Blizzardman's level for Extra Lives and Tomahawkman's level for Energy Canisters.  If that can't help you, I'm sure there's another way.  But for now, let's talk about Mega Man X or Zero, those two are awsome as well.

My brothers rent and played. I think he beated some of them. I recall one with the skull man. I never really beaten any of them and I thought the game was fun. I wouldn't mind playing them again.

So far next week, all I have is basketball practices! No games for a while.
