DaoC

I am kinda curious who has this game. I love it, im addicted to it, and I wanna see some of you guyz in it  

I don't have it, but I have thought about buying myself some kind of MMORPG game, and everyone I know says that one is one of the best.

You mean Dark ages of Camelot, right? I didn't get it until I read Highlanders post...
Yeah, i heard this one was a good one too, but I don't think I'll buy it. I need my money for other things for the moment...

well the cost per month depends on how you set up your billing cycle. (The first month is free btw) If you want to pay monthly its $12.95 a month, every 3 months its 11.95 per month, and every 6 months its 10.95. Well you may ask why wont ya just pay every 6 months? Well what if you dont like it and quit into the first month you have to paY? Well, you will get a nice $60+ bill 5 months from then   So I played it safe and did every 3 months.

Interesting, I am not into MMORPGs. If I had to get one, I would get Phantasy Star. Dark Ages of Camelot, what is it that it is different from Everquest or some other game?

Their are a few differences from other MMORPG's, but they are significant. The first thing is the control Player Killing (PK) IN DaoC, you pick one of 3 realms, and the main objective is to safeguard your relic keeps while trying to take over the other Realms Relic Keeps. The way it is controlled is because the Realm vs Realm (RvR) battles are mostly for the higher levels, the lower levels have to get up their so they do not get wiped out. Also this encourages team work. People of your own realm cannot attack you. So chances are they will team up with you and hunt to get more Exp. Also, when you die, you do not lose any loot, as in other online games. The list continues. If you want more examples. just ask.

Doesn't seem too shabby. Is it medieval as the title states or is it just a saying?

It is medieval, where it incorporates, Celtic myths (Realm of Hibernia), Post-King Arthur period (Realm of Albion) and the Norse mythology (Realm of Migard)

I bought some computermagazine containing another MMORPG, Anarchy Online, and if you registered with the code inside, you were allowed to play two weeks for free, to test the game out.

I'm going to do that soon, and if I find it fun I'm going to get DAoC, since most people say it's the best MMORPG game around

If you do end up getting DaoC, make your char in the Morgan le Fay Server if you wanna see me there. If you chose the Hibernian Realm, I will see ya there a lot because that is the Realm I am in, but if you pick the other 2, well I guess I will just have to beat ya down in some RvR action when you are able to get there  

I really didn't understand much of that, but that's probably cause I haven't played it yet.

Like he said, there are three realms and if you join his realm, you don't kill each other but work together to defeat people in other realm. So if you don't want to fight him and wanna work together, join his realm of Hibernian but if you wanna fight him, choose midgard or albion. so that is what he is saying.

Okay, that sound purdy cool.
Though I might join the Midgard realm, it's kind of combined with Wikings and Sweden, isn't it?

I don't really think it makes a difference. I think they are all the same but the only one who can answer it is da man, Yed!
