Hi my name is Hobbes Lionheart.

Why in the smurf Yu-Gi-Oh is so popular? I understand pokemon but Yu? And you buy it?

So far next week, all I have is basketball practices! No games for a while.

Well, Mr. Lionheart, your answer is simple:  people have moved on from little blue dwarves to masterfully designed Japanese Anime Saturday Morning Kids' Shows.  Yu-Gi-Oh! happens to be one of the more popular series between higher aged pre-teens and teens alike.  However, it is still a far cry from the popularity of Dragon Ball Z and others.  So far, the most popular has been Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z.  The former is more popular with the young ones and the latter with the teens and Anime fans in general.  I believe that answers your question.  And only Cloud, Romku and Takaros knew I bought Yu-Gi and Kaiba Starter Decks with my birthday money, how did you know?  Is there an information leak somewhere?  Hmmmm... ... ...

I guess it's the fact that the monsters come out of the cards that make it so popular.  It could also be the fact that the TCG industry is rapidly becoming the biggest industry of all time.  Even video games will eventually fall to the addictive card games.  It's just a matter of a few hundred years after they come out with the realease of 19832354-bit PS734639, then Yu-Gi-Oh! 2503 edition comes out and conquers the TCG and Video Gaming markets.  It also has the most playable sets of rules.  I'll send you my spare rule book.  Just give me your address...

(PM me your address if necessary)

...then I'll get that to you.  Compare that with other modern TCG's and you'll find that Yu-Gi-Oh!'s isn't that hard to follow.  Basically all the rules are adapted from the TV show and makes it seem like the real deal.  Whereas, the DBZ CCG is not as muched focused on the shows events as it is the individual characters.  I have that too and I still don't get all the rules.  So weigh the balance here:

                                      ^
                                    /  \
                                   |    |
                          _|   |
                              |    |   |_
                              |    |   |    |
                             /|\   |   |    |
                      |   |   /|\
                                   |    |_

As you may be able to tell from my poorly drawn ASCII scale, Yu-Gi-Oh! has the favor here.  It's wider variety or cards, strictly based on the TV show, and realistic decks in comparison to the TV show gives it the edge over DBZ.  Clearly, you should go for YGO, but if you feel better playing the DBZ CCG, then you can go right ahead.  Just don't say I didn't warn you!

Guest Helper: Shajde!

Hmm, well, I tend to work with lines more than curves, so I don't know how much I can help...

x=0                         x=1

y=1/3(0^2+2)^3/2    y=1/3(1^2+2)^3/2
y=1/3(2)^3/2           y=1/3(3)^3/2
y=1/3(8)/2               y=1/3(27)/2
y=(8/3)/2                 y=9/2
y=4/3

y=4/3 when x=0; y=9/2 when x=1; (0,4/3),(1,9/2)

Distance from 0 to 1 = 1
Distance from 4/3 to 9/2 = ?

9/2-->27/6; 4/3-->8/6
27/6 - 8/6 = 19/6

Dist. from 4/3 to 9/2 = 19/6

Hmm, not sure how to find the length from there though, heh...hell, some of that's probably extraneous information anyway.  *shrugs*  Math isn't my best thing, but I had to give it a shot, lol.
Hey hey, If you need help with differentiating or finding the derviative at a point. I am your man!

Why does Adult swim on Cartoon network still have edited anime?! =/

.::Romi's Sk8r Boi::.

.::Romi loves the Oreo::.
Because America sucks.

No, really!  What they do is they take the anime, import it, and then go through each episode for content, then they edit it so that America's viewers don't protest.  If you ever go to Japan, never get a flight home.  Instead, have your parents visit you.  There are many reasons for that:  A) unedited anime and manga, B) it's beautiful over there, C) you can get every single video game ever made, unedited, and D)  you can get ALL the unedited versions of Final Fantasy plus any unreleased versions in America.  I'm sure what you are looking for is either A) the cuss words, B) the extra scenes,  or C) all edited out sex scenes or nudity scenes.  If anyone knows what "hentai" is, they deserve a cookie, because if you go to Japan, you might get some of that.  Only there, it's legal for minors to watch, rent, etc.  You can either get it or not, it's entirely up to you, but I suggest for those of you with girlfriends or boyfriends to avoid hentai at most costs.  The exception is if your G/f/, B/f wants to watch it with you.  A good one, I learned through research of the topic, is Little Blue Girl or something like that.  If you seriously want "hentai," I would recommend that movie.  I have never seen it, but like I said, through research, I have found that out.

There's your answer!  Next caller...

(OOC:  On a side note, self-proclaimed psychic John Edwards made an appearance in Omaha last week.  It was sold out before I could get any tickets, so maybe next time.  If anyone is interested in being on John Edwards, and if you allow it, would you PLEASE take me?  I have a desire to talk with my grandfather one last time.  He died when I was only five, so it's been ten years.  I'd really appreciate it!  Thank you!

How Does one create feces?

Proud Carrier of Small Pox. Hey Im getting paid 400 bucks for it, you would do it too.

"At Final Fantasy Fanatic we strive to take your money and leave you homeless"

The Sheep says:
I suppose that I must guess this one.

The food that goes down our throats get separated on a molecular level and then sent to different parts.  All good things go to different body parts, but the bad things get separated again.  While we are taking a virtual tour through YeD's body, we find that the chicken he has just eaten has already been separated.  The liquid nutrients of the meal go to his small intestine, where we dare not go.  Our trip, however exists in the solid area, the large intestine.  Through the trip through the intestine, the food gets smashed together, which then makes the length and width of our feces.  Then we get that gosh-darn interrupting feeling and we go to use the facilities.  The feces drops out, gets flushed, and eventually ends up in a nuclear waste plant that eventually gets so much waste, something clogs up and YeD's feces get caught in the reactor, which causes a nuclear meltdown that destroys the nearby town.  That is the phenomenon called "feces."

Well, not as much as human as we would like to think. It is all a matter of how much humanity does one have.

La Blue Girl

I believe the hentai you were referring to is La Blue Girl, Hero.

And Ross is definately more feminine.  Mimi married a man who wears dresses for cryin' out loud.  C'mon now!  >.<  *feels wicked today*

Query: Why are you trying so hard at everything here instead of trying to mingle like the rest of us?
Because I'm supposed to be answering questions, not letting them slip by.  Then again, answering all of Yed's questions was actually quite fun ^_^"!

No, not everything here in this thread, everything here on this board.  You are just trying too hard to be the most powerful warrior, the organized RP'er, the dutiful aide, the political inspirer...you can't expect to do everything, Hero.  Relax once in a while, kid; let things flow as they will.
