The Dark Challenge — The battle of the powers!

Taio stands upon a cracked pillar in the fields of Dorigia, an abadoned temple.  Taio speaks:

"Warriors.  My name is Taio Sunaki.  I am a warrior from the dark realm.  I am waiting for a good challenge to try my powers on someone.  Only 5 RPBers can take me on.  This will be a fun match.   I advise that you win.  Hehehe.  I see in the RPB Hotline by Romku that Shajde, Jareth, and Takaros, and Romku himself are going to take me on, but I'll allow one more.  If the new warrior doesn't show, we will just have a 4 on 1 match.  This will be great for my new powers!"

Taio stands upon the pillar, waiting for the band of good warriors.

Sage walks onto the battle field, a very beautiful, but old, temple. He spots a man standing on a fallen pillar. Sage folded his wings back and rested his hand on his Katana.

"So, guess that I'm the extra, but only my friends are here!" the 17 year old Windian and Woren hybrid spoke out, looking for his comrades. He shifted his body under his strong leather armor and let out a sigh. He looked back up at the man named Taio. He must of been a real badass if his friends had hunted him down to help fight him. Was he really a menace to this world?

"So uh yeah.....um wassssssup?" he said, trying to strike a conversation.

Tcha, optimistic youths.  You'd think that word would get around eventually.  Shajde's voice seemed to float out of the ground to Sage's left.  With a soft grey glow, she phased into existence, hovering inches over the ground with one foot hooked behind the other, her arms crossed over her chest in a business like manner.  Darkness tends to find itself destroyed in this part of the world with extreme prejudice and great effeciency.  I'd say this is a warning, but as far as I'm concerned, she opened her eyes to stare down the dark warrior, her grey hair beginning to rise as with a gust of wind, darkening to a shining black, you're already toast.

Without glancing away from her target, she asked Sage if he thought they should begin without the others.  After all, you and I both know we're more than a match for one opponent.  Figure we can let the others get some rest.  Especially Romku, he seems quite stressed by this entire situation.

Of course, knowing Sage as she does, she was relatively certain he would want to wait for the others to arrive.  What a drag.

Jareth emerges onto the feild looking stronger then ever wearing his combat cloths and a 4 1/2 foot hadband on his head with his weapons on his body. the blades glimmer in the sun.
"taio i've been egare for a chance to fight you now we see what powers you really have".
Jareth walks over to the rest of the warrioirs and stands ready for anything.
"so do we have a chance at winning this thing" jareth asked the others"\n\n

Takaros sneaks up on Jareth in his invisable astral form.  He grabs both the sholders and says, "Boo!"
 He snickers as he turns into his solid form when Jareth turns around.

Jareth turns around but dosent smile he looks takaros in the face and nods with out any emotion in his face. takaros returns the looks and stands ready with jareth waitting for romku to apper so they can start the epic battle that will determin the fate of so many people.

[OoC: Hey! Jareth, no controlin my actions unless I say that you can.. it annoys the hell out of me.]

"Blasted Rom..  Where the hell is he?  Maybe we should search for him?  What do you think?"  Takaros looks over at Jareth.  He wonders what would of happened if Jareth was accually still fighting this guy.

"seraching for him will help us not romku will show up when he is ready to untill then we wait and prepare"
Jareth looks up at taio standing upon the pillar looking smug as possible but he had no idea what he was in for.  becasue jareth had brought along some new new spells and weapons for taio to play with.  Not a clue Jareth mumbled to himself\n\n

Romku ran to the scene with the others.

"Thank you all for coming.

"BY my life or death i will ptotect the blood of the inocent" jareth spoke then drew out his chain and stated to spin it around ready for battle. Jareth thougth to himself i will not fail like before i will save the people of this world.

Taio grinned with a evil grin on his face.

"Well, you're all here.  I'm glad.  I'll finally get a great challenge from you warriors.  Try to stay alive long, or your souls are mine!  You better get ready to fight, or you'll be embracing your own tombstone!"

Taio got into his fighting stance, launching an attack at Jareth.

"I'll toy with you first."

Taio punched Jareth repeatedly in the face and stomach, knocking him around like a punching bag.  Taio punched Jareth in the air.  He caught up to him and dealt three kicks to his stomach, one to the face, and dropkicked Jareth towards the ground.  Jareth hit with hard force, and Taio wasn't done yet.  He started to gather some of the Dark Power and blasted it towards Jareth's back.  The beam made a direct hit, causing a missive explosion.  No could tell what was going on, there was too much smoke to see clearly, but Taio had a good idea what happened to the inexperienced Jareth.

"Jareth!  Watch out you idiot!"  Takaros muttered.  Bloody fool Jareth!  You thought you could take him on?  You are such an idiot sometimes!  SHEESH!!

Takaros walks forward, closer to Romku.  He looks at Romku in the eyes.  His face turning slightly odd.

Tcha, if all we've to lose is our souls and lives, I guess I've nothing to fear!!

Shajde was enveloped by intense winds and used them to fire at Taio like a living bullet feet first.  Reaching him, she locked her legs around his neck and spun, sending him around and around like a flying top before kicking off of his chest, knocking him down into the ground much as he had done Jareth, though his body's twisting screwed him deeply into the ground.

Shajde's flip carried her back to the position from which she had flown, standing beside Sage.  Two can play at unblockable melee, she thought, smiling.

((OoC: Ok, I am the mod here Taio, and I will not put up with any bullshit =/ I want this to be free of godmodding and arguments, this is gonna be the most famous battle to date on all of FFF, lets give it our all!))

"Yup! Lets go!" Sage said, folding his metallic blue wings back and drawing his katana, the blade gleaming in the light of the setting sun. He looked over to Shajde, the mystical woman watching Taio contently. Sage cleared his throat and she looked over at the young Windian, his grin like that of a kid.

"Wanna go out for a walk through the streets of Windia at night after this battle?" he asked with a smile. He threw up a peace sign and looked right into her eyes, his baby blue eyes filled with light. He was trying to brighten up things, but he was hopping maybe she would consider. He then eyed Taio and swung out at him.

"Yer not gonna like me pal!" Sage said with a grin.\n\n

Funny, I thought he was with someone....nice offer though.  She started to tell him she would enjoy that when he noticed Taio's presence renewed and tore off to do battle.  She smiled.  Young blood.

Her eyes darkened as the clouds before a storm, her hair changing from black to green as she sent streams of energy through the earth to support Sage's charge, a sort of geomantic backup force if he should fall into trouble in his attack.  What are teammates for, yea?

((OoC: Sage didn't attack straight out. More like a taunt.))

Sage rushed in right BEHIND (=D) Shajde, leaping to the left and brandishing his sword on Taio. He slashed down once, flipped, and planted one boot in the opponent's face, then spun off of him. He thrust his arms forward and launched a typhoon spell right at him, Shajde hopping back not to get hit. Sage sheathed his sword and flew straight up in the air, concentrated on taking this foe out.

"Sirocco!" he shouted out, and high winds with searing flames washed over the field, hitting Taio directly. He laughed and remained high in the sky, a light of hope shinning down on them, in a figuretive way of course.

Jareth stands up with out a scratch he then launches a chain at taio's back at an unfatamble speed but there something about this chain that is very starnge it is on fire with a fireball attached to the end. as it hits taio in the back jareth makes the fire ball erupt in a molten exspolision of heat sending waves of energy out from taio's body jareth then pulls out his sword and throws it up as jareth catches it by the haft the blade erupts in a firey blaze.

"well taio now im going to have some real fun" jareth yelled

Jareth starts to run starit for the smoke and powers up his sword let the remaining energy from his preveous attack fill his sword blade with more energy.  Jareth jumps up and declares his attack on taio
"fire blade of doom attack" the sword in jareths hand has gathered enough energy so that when the sword stirkes it is like  the force of 1 single volcano in jareth's hands.

((OOC: Adding a quick note, but I don't think I should attack again so soon--I'm not anywhere near the battle, Sage, hehehe...I'm standing well away from Taio and my energy is supporting you through the earth.  Physically I'm standing oh, I dunno, thirty-ish yards away?))

((Don't worry Sage, I may be evil, but I am a fair fighter, I don't godmod or argue.  Don't worry.))

Taio is bruised from the attack from the others, except for Romku, in which he is still planning an attack on him.  Taio feels the heat from Jareth's shash of doom.  He dodges the cut and forces his heel right into Jareth's face.  Jareth flew back, but he would land on his feet soon.

"You guys have great amounts power, enough to feed my hunger for a good challenge.  I am honored to fight you, but take this.  Chaos Sweep!"

Taio started to build energy.  The energy was becoming massive.  Taio grabbed the beam of dark energy and swung it around, making a large bar of energy like a baseball bat.  It came whooshing towards the warriors.  All of the warriors were preparing to dodge, but he saw Romku jumping through the air, dodging the attack, what was he up to?

Romku jumped through the air, dodging the massive Chaos Sweep, but he needed a plan.

"You want a piece of me Taio?!  Come and get it!  You will NOT take the souls from my friends!  You will lose by the power of the spiriter!  Holy spirit, come to me and grant me your power!"

Romku turned holy as he flew through the air, his clothes becoming light blue, and his hair and his aura were yellowish-goldish.  Romku landed on top of Taio, kicking him straight in the chin, and then punchng him backwards through the air.  Taio hit a nearby mountain, leaving a small crater on it.  Taio got up slowly.

"Romku, do you want to die first of all.  I can make it that way!"

"You won't win Taio!  I won't let you!  Sacred Power!"

Romku started to glow with a golden color.  His power grew immensly.  Romku was shining golden, like a golden warrior.  He in for another attack.  He punched Taio in the stomach, hammer punched him to the ground, blasted him in the back with a holy blast, and threw him in the air.  Romku was charging up a holy attack.

"Everyone, add your attack to mine, we will hit him all at once!  Sacred Cannon!"

Romku's holy energy turned into a beam and he fired it at Taio.  Romku now waited for any attacks they would add to his holy attack, but when the others add their attacks, would it be enough?

Tcha, a threat easily removed.

Shajde simply raised her arm and the earth rose with it, her previously charged energy forcing the ground upward into a thick, protective barrier of dirt and rock and root.

Sage threw up his arms and took the chaos sweep, already using up all his energy that Shajde helped him gather. He was knocked back a good 20 feet and landed on one foot, hopinh around trying not to fall.

"Crap! that was close!" Sage said, but he didn't have time to join Romku's attack. He leaped towards Shajde, and began to give her and himself a slight speed boost, seeing as Romku was buying them some time.

"So, bout that date....." Sage said with a sly grin. He felt really close to Shajde, but never really considered her as a partner. A friendly date would never hurt, even tho she may hurt him!

((OoC: Shajde probably gets what I mean XD and no not seriousness date silly! =) ))

Jareth rose up from the chaos sweep bleeding from his lip he then pushes some fire energy from his body tworads romku and gets ready for a new attack if romkus fails. Jareth thougth tohimself as he pumed power to romku like a star to a black hole (if this dosnt work i'll have to use my attack and if it fails i'll be almost out of it for sure).
"that enough energy romku"romku nods in a response then jareth looks at taio
"hope this works"jareth said tohimself. jareth then uses the last of his charged up energy and focusus on taio
"here gose nothing.  SEEKER FLAME CHAIN ASSULT". 50 chains of fire with flameing akunis fly twoards taio sunaki at difrent directions.  He cant dodge theme all jareth thougth as he rested flame chain assult is one of my last resort attacks if this dosent hurt him almost nothing will. jareth watched and waited and hoped in fear he may be the first to die.\n\n

Takaros's face still changes, but then his hands start to turn a different shade and shape.  He seems to be doing something with his form.  He looks over at Taio,  "You didn't really affect me with that affect.  In fact.. that just made me stronger."  Takaros walks foward as he holds his hand in front of him.  "But this blasted smoke from it isn't helpin well. ASTRAL WIND!"  He clears the smoke from his vision for himself.. but it doesn't seem to affect all of the smoke.  "####.. didn't work as well.  Stupid me using it on that food earlier."

Taio gets hit with the combined power of three fighters.  A giant explosion occurs, and the smoke covers the arena.  The fighters covered their eyes from the explosion.  Out of the smoke, came a tattered and bruised Taio.  He still had a evil grin on his face.  He had a new idea.

"Hehehe.  I truly have to give it to you.  You warriors are strong, but I have a message.  One, I wanted Takaros to get stronger for a better fight, and I know Romku will upgrade him, and the rest of you even more if he uses what I think he will use.  Second, my energy can easily convert to pure energy, so my energy won't be dark anymore.  Third, I have a new attack with my new energy.  It's time for the Fierce Tyranny technique.  Fierce Tyranny!"

Taio started to power up with the new found energy.  His aura became more powerful, Taio became more powerful, and he was like a new warrior.  Energy doubles started to form around Taio.  It was like Taio led an army of energy doubles, equal to his power, but he didn't make 4 to make it a 5-on-5 match, he only made two.

Takaros "Simple."
Jareth "We can take those things!"

"Wait my friends, do you notice their power levels.  Their power is equal to mine you fools!  They even got a hidden secret about them.  Now, prepare to fight for your lives!  One of you, attack Jareth!"

The first energy doulbe came after Jareth.  The fake Taio started to hammer punch Jareth to the ground.  He kicked him off the ground, punched him around, and finally kicked him back, caqusing him to go through a nearby mountain.  Jareth fell to the ground, but he was eager to get up.

"Jareth my boy, give up, or I'll have to do this to you.  Double, show our friend the little secret about you!"

The double flew in towards Jareth, but he came back fighting.  Jareth was putting his heart into his fists.  The double got through the defense and grabbed Jareth, holding his arms and legs back.  The double glowed with an awesome power.  Suddenly, the energy double of Taio exploded!  All of the power from the energy double was magnified because of the gathering of the energy.  Smoke once again filled the arena.  Taio watched with a grin on his face as he watched the fireworks.

Takaros mutters, "Dumb idiot Jareth.  Now..."  Takaros is still changing.  Now his face starts looking like Taio's.  "ROMKU!"  He yells. "I need on of those stones of yours!  The dark one!  And if you have one, a light one!"

Jareth opens his eyes he was bleeding from his nose lip and hi face.  jkrteh tryed to stand up but coldent becasue his leg was missing
"holy ####"!jareth yelled

well if im the first to die im going to go out with a bang jareth thougth to himself. jareth could barley stay awake let alone stand on his own two feet beacsue he was missing one but he had an idea. jareth fired a small beam strait into the lowest point in the ground then jumped inside after drilling a large hole.  moments passed and jareth finaly emerged still missing his leg but he had stopped bleeding and looked powered up.
"taio must have forgoten that below the erath is the heat from the core of the planet"
well here gose nothing "FINAL ENERGY ASSULT" Jareth startes to charge mana from the heat of the planet'score and his body a lrage rune of fire came infromt of his body and focused on taio
"romku now"
romku gives jareth a fire rune and adds it to jareths attack
"i'll see you guys later just beat him okay"
jareth focused all of his energy into the attack then prepared for the end.
"FINAL ENERGY ASSULT FIRE"
Jareth pushes all the raw energy out of his body and starit for taio sunaki jareth watches as the blast hit's taio directly then hopes his attack did something.

Romku just realized about his special runes.

"Everyone, we need more power to defeat Taio, so I'm going to give each of you one of the Spirit Runes.  These runes will power you up and give you the powers of my spirits!"

Romku pulls out four runes: fire, dark, earth, and wind.  He throws them out to the others.  Sage catches the Wind Spirit Rune, giving him the powers of the wind spirit.  Shajde catches the Earth Spirit Rune, giving her the powers of the earth spirit and powering her up.  Takaros catches the Dark Spirit Rune, giving him more dark power and the powers of the dark spirit.  Jareth catches the Fire Spirit Rune, giving him more power and the powers of the fire spirit.  All of the characters bowed their heads to Romku for thanks and the battle was ready to get harder.  Jareth launched his attack while the others were powering up with their new runes.

"Guys, once this battle is over, the runes will break, so use their power wisely.  Taio!  You're going down!"

The warriors stood as Jareth blasted Taio, but was this enough to defeat him?  Romku casted Curest Light on Jareth, healing his wounds and giving him his leg back, but the pain from the energy double of Taio's explosion still had effect.  Will Jareth defeat Taio?

The smoke from Jareth's attack covered the arena.  Taio could be seen in the smoke.  Taio fanned away the smoke, and Jareth's jaw dropped to the ground.  Taio had wounds all over his right arm, probrably because he blocked the attack with that arm.  Taio hair was fringed a little and he had a bloody lip to match his arm.

"Jareth, your attack was great.  You have power my friend, but even with Romku's help, your power can't defeat me.  You minus well be the first warrior to give up.  Let the others fight for you, you won't lose your soul until the others are beaten.  What do you say?  You admitted yourself that you will be the first one to lose.  If you want to keep fighting, I won't stop you, but I don't advise you too.  All I will do is defeat you again.  I have one more energy double.  If you keep fighting, I'll send him after you and do my little trick again.  What do you say Jareth?  Will you fight or concede?"

Taio wiped the blood off of his lip, waiting for a response from Jareth.

After catching the offered Spirit Rune, Shajde immediately buried it into the ground.

"HE CAN TAKE THAT ENERGY WITHIN HIM! CAREFUL!"  Takaros jumps back and catches the dark rune in the middle of the air. He had just finnally fully taken Taio's form.  "Form COMPLETE! UNPROTECT!"  Takaros yells.  He pulls out one of his astral weapons.  His choice was the sword.  Takaros then begins to charge something into his sword...

Taio's energy double began to glow with a bright light, he was about to explode!  Taio tried to get up, but Shajde kept him and the energy double down.  The double exploded, and made a loud BOOM!  The rest of the warriors were pressed back a bit from the explosion, but they were ok.  The smoke started to clear.  Of course, the energy double was gone.  Taio could be seen, but with a new injury.  His right arm was blasted from Jareth, but now, his right leg was torn up badly, and the side of his head had scratches.  Taio yelled in pain for just a minor second.  Taio stood up.

"####, Shajde, I have to admit, that was pretty good strategy, and you got me beat up badly.  You are a great fighter, and I admire you for that.  I think you're the strongest female fighter that I have seen through my years, you're even stronger that most of the male fighters out there.  I am hurt because of your strategy, but I'm able to fight on.  Wait a minute!  Where is Shajde?"

Taio looked around for Shajde.  What happened to her?

Takaros looks around,  "What happened?"  He walks a little bit, getting used to this form, then turns to face Taio.  "You look pretty torn up there Taio.  Ahh.. what happened to Shajde?"

Having taken as much of the blast's force as Taio, Shajde was thrown nearly two hundred yards away to plummet into the unforgiving ground below.  Rather than making a dent in the ground, she seemed to roughly bounce, flopping and rolling across the ground for a few feet before coming to a stop in a position that suggested death, were her breathing not visible to the other fighters even from their distance; a sort of slight motion to her figure.

The sneak attack had done its damage well.  She survived her part in the gambit, but it had torn through much of the front of her body, really wounds that looked more damaging than they were, skin and muscle damage mostly and she now lay nearly unconscious on the crumpled grass.

Maybe...won't try...that again...soon... she thought, the hint of a smile sneaking over her face.

"Shajde, what happened to you!  Let me heal you.  I'm not making fun of your power, but please use the earth rune, it will power you up more than you are now.  I'm not insulting your power, I know how strong you are, but take my adivce this turn round.  One more thing, Curest Light!"

Romku bent down towards Shajde.  Little stars of energy floated thruogh the air.  The stars started to go into Shajde's wounds.  The wounds were healed, but the pain still existed.

"That should help for now.  Taio, it's my turn!  Satellite Combo and Renzoku Ring combine attacks!"

Romku made a blue energy portal infront of him.  Romku jumped into the portal and dissapeared.  Taio had no idea what was going on, until Romku reappeared behind his back and dealing him a dropkick to his back.  When Romku got out of the portal, he had two energy discs with him.  He threw them at Taio, hitting him in the back again.  Romku now made a blue ring of energy infront of him.  Romku blasted all of his attacks into the portal, any energy attack, spell, or other attack went into the portal.  Romku yelled.

"Renzoku Ring close and vanish!"

Romku closed the portal and sent in inside the ground.

"What did you do that for Romku?  Are you afraid of me?"

"Taio, I'm saving that move for later.  This turn, I'm unleashing my new lighting attack.  My lightning spirit just got to level 2 and I'm ready to show you my new attack.  Lightning spirit, come and grant me your power!"

Romku started to change.  His hair turned yellow, his clothes turned orange, and his aura turned yellow.  Romku was blasting with new found power because of the spirit's upgrade.

"Bolt Fury!"

Romku started to gather all of his lightning energy.  Romku launched energy into the air.  The new energy started to cause severe lightning.  This lightning was different.  This lightning was using Romku's lightning energy for the power.  The bolts struck the arena, then they all struck Taio at once.  Taio was electricuted, but then an explosion occured.  As always, smoke covered the arena.  Was Taio finally defeated?

The bolt struck Taio with fierce energy.  After the smoke cleared, Taio was found with a new injury.  Taio's right hand was torn up because it was the hand he blocked the attack with.  Taio was getting more angry with every attack that was dealt to him.  

"Fierce Life!"

Taio had dark energy surrounding him.  It covered all of Taio's injuries, and healed them, and getting rid of the pain.  Taio was like a new warrior, ready to fight!  

"Romku my friend, your friends are getting beat, and you're trying to beat me.  Sorry Romku, but you stand no chance against me.  I wonder.  I have an idea.  To show my true power to you, I'll let all 4 of your friends hit me with their best shot, and we'll see who is the true warrior around here, unless they're too hurt to go on, like Jareth and Shajde.  Hit me with your best shot fools, show Romu how strong I really am!"

Taio lifted his hand, and made a "bring it on" sign with his hand.  What would Romku's friends do?

Sage had gone over to Shajde when she had landed from the sacrifice move she had made. He was begining to get pissed off at Taio, especially for hurting a close friend. But before he got up and attacked he let Romku have his turn, which had only scathed Taio's right hand. The man used a spell of darkness and revitalizied himself to peak condition, and began to mock Sage's injured allies. Up until now, Sage was hardly in the fight, since Taio only made advances on Romku and those who protected him. Shajde was attack due to her being in combat up close and personal, but he, the winged fellow off to the side, was not really fighting. He was completly up to speed health wise.

Taio made a harsh comment and beckoned for the warriors to fight. Sage stepped forward by himself.

"Leave them out for this round, its my turn." The young Windian stated, drawing his Katana out and tossing down his sheath. He folded his wings back and out of nowhere flew forward, inches above the ground. He lashed out at Taio at an incredible speed, wind rolling off and over his sleek blade. After the first series of attacks he spun off to the side and suddenly grew an aura set of wings over his metalic blue wings. He readied his sword as Taio rushed him and Sage suddenly shot forward at the speed of sound.

"Pheonix.......ha!" he broke right into Taio and past him, whipping out his blade at the last minute, leaving a nice slash on Taio's left arm. Right after Sage flew by tho, his enemy was washed over in a wave of flames. He quickly landed from the attack and spun on one foot, anchoring himself to the ground and letting out his strongest spell, Typhoon, at Taio.

"Little egotistical freak." he said, not even breaking a sweat. He got in a bent stance and awaited a counter attack.

Jareth looks at taio who had been sorunded in flames then at his new leg and the rest of the group.
"shajde thank you" jareth spoke aloud, "taio sunaki i will not conceed i will fight untill you or i die."
Jareth pulls out a his dule schimitars and yells
"Kinsi transformation"
Jareth hair turns ice blue and his cloths turn orange he then starts to spin his swords at an unfathimable speed.  sheathing his swords jareth leaps up at taio who is still sorunded by flames jareth flys starit threw the fire and starts to deal him punch upon punch in the gut and face jareth then uses kickstrom and kicks taio 18 times sending him starit to the ground jareth gets out of the fire ring and waits for taios next attack.

((Taio asked for my best shot?  Well, then, this is going to take a while...))

Shajde's laughter was quiet, a dark chuckle.  Even so, it carried across the field of battle as though it were a part of the wind, sending shivers through the bones of the men fighting on.  She had retrieved the earth rune from its location of safety the moment she could move, thanks to Romku's healing.  Crushing it in her hand, the rune's dust coated her with a fine layer of silver sand.  Her quiet chuckling grew louder and loftier until it was almost a shouting.  It ended abruptly, as though it had never begun, and her green eyes fixed on her enemy across the field.

You are a fool, Taio Sunaki!!  The wind around her ceased its natural currents, beginning instead to circle around the glowing woman standing alone.  Air pressure quickly built and carried loose dirt and stone up from the ground, making the tight cyclone surrounding Shajde a visible gold and silver screen in constant motion, a rippling wave of earth and wind.  Inside, Shajde's eyes began to shine like twin suns, flaring outward as deep bronze beacons.  The runes covering her skin flashed in unison, her last point to charge, and she roared, calling her power to her.

The ground shook with horrifying power.  Cracks split and raced outward away from Shajde in nine directions, light leaking out from beneath the earth through the cuts made into it.  The lights were prisms, each color of the rainbow and more, the blue green of the seas, the golds and fiery reds of falling leaves, the bright greens and browns of evergreens, the myriad hues of the many flowers of Earth, the layered blacks and greys of onyx.  The cracks ended at thirty meters, new breaks forming between their tips to form a great star of summoning (in this case, used to summon pure energy).

As the star closed, a great flash came from the cyclone rising at the center of it.  Shajde's hair seemed to burst into green flames, snapping the clasps braiding it back and rising around her in the wind, flowing like water and snapping as the tongues of a blazing fire.  Overhead, the clouds that had been few, whispy, and white now were appearing in great number, smearing together into a great grey mass as though some divine painter, unsatisfied with his work, had wiped his hand across the canvas to create an all-encompassing storm of grey and shadow.  Small white lines cut across one cloud to another, gathering together into larger white lines, eventually streaking earthward with a loud crack and a dull boom of thunder.  The massive bolt picked Shajde off of her feet to fly nearly twenty feet off of the ground.  She seemed angelic in that moment, clothed in light and shadows, surrounded by her earth's energy.  The moment passed, and the force of the lightning blast flew outward in a ring of concussion.

Never, her voice thrumming with energy, under any circumstance, her hands sparking, bursting into flames, simply "allow", the flames becoming light, the light smoke, the smoke life, the life death, your opponents, the death seeming to call to the assembled  warriors, promising them rest, to fight no more, to strike you, and even before it spoke they knew it was a lie, with, and still they loved and believed it, tears shining in their eyes, their best!!!  The wind dissipated, and Shajde fell to earth on her feet, still glowing with all that defines existence.

HOPE OF THE EARTH

Her words reverberated through the earth as though it were air, through the air as though it were earth, shattering invisible stone and dirt alike as the force of them blasted across the men before her.  In moments, the lifeforce of all that existed on the Earth was shared with her, sparing her all the energy that could be sent without causing death in other.  All of this glowed above her to the right.  At the same time, all that had ever existed and been destroyed, the living that now were dead, the stone that had been crumbled into water, the sands melted to glass, all that was forever changed, this too came at her call and became a great force of death above and to her left.

The calling complete, Shajde closed her eyes, floating up to hover between the two massive powers, one a faint green blue, the other a shifting mass of greys.  She reached out her hands and, touching softly to each side, was joined by the enormous energy stored within them.  The light of a new star filled the sky, blinding any who had been watching (and who had been watching anything else?).  For hundreds of miles in any direction, the starlight could be seen as a great white beacon streaking up into the sky, a shining pillar of virtue and balance, purity and justice.

When the light faded and the warriors could see again, Shajde was standing only inches from Taio.  Snatches of lightning crackled over her skin, which was as hardened as the packed earth beneath the surface of the world.  Her eyes scorched their target with the flames of a planet's heart while her hair flowed around both her and her enemy, green rivers thrown about in a hurricane wind.  Without a word, she lashed out, catching him around the neck and shoulder in her hands, and embraced him, placing a soundless kiss on his forehead.

The shockwave from the blast threw the other warriors up and away from the coupled pair.  It felt as though a great boom or crackling should have accompanied the surging explosive force of the technique, but there was not a sound to be heard.  Only the great darkness and bright light that swirled around the place where they knew Taio and Shajde stood moments before.  The Power of Hope.....no one could survive that.....?!?

Taio dug into the thoughts of his mind.  He didn't know such good opponents would make their appearence in this world.  He never knew what true powers everyone had.   After the fierce combo of moves from Sage, Shajde, Romku, Jareth, and Takaors.  Taio was blown away, blasting him through mountain upon mountain with fierce energy.  Taio hit the last mountain hard, causing him to cough up blood before he hit the ground.  Taio's body was completely torn up.  His upper body bled with many cuts and bruises.  His legs were torn up and bloody.  His face was covered with small cuts.  It seemed like a puddle of blood surrounded him.  Taio coughed and started to speak.

"You warriors...I have to say...are very powerful...more than I expected.  I have to say that ecause of you...I have to pull off my greatest move.  But first, I need to heal.  FIERCE LIFE!"

Taio was healed, back to his peak condition.

"If you guys can at least block this move, I don't know what I'll do.  This move is my greatest ever, even 100 times more powerful than the explosion of my energy double.  Let's see if you can take the ultimate power of the dark side.  Hyaa!"

Taio floated in the air, bolt of dark energy striked around him.  The skies turned midnight black, and the ground glowed with dark power.  It was like darkness controlled the Earth.  Taio's eyes glowed with dark energy.  His hair was covered with bolts of dark energy.

"ULTIMA CANNON!  DESTROY THIS WORLD AND EVERYONE THAT EXISTS!"

Taio made a giant, dark ball of energy, but knowing Takaros would try to absorb it, he automatically converted the dark energy to neutral energy.  Taio made the giant ball of energy, it was now the size of about 1/8 of the Earth itself.  The ball bolted with energy, causing storms across the land where they were fighting.  Taio launched the ball towards the warriors.  Would this power completely anhiliate everyone on Earth?

Romku feels the giant ball of energy clash towards him, but now he remembers the Renzoku Ring that is still in the ground.  Romku resummons the Renzoku Ring.  

"EVERYONE!  THE ONLY WAY WE CAN COUNTER THIS MOVE IS FOR ALL OF US TO UNLEASH OUR GREATEST ATTACK, BUT FIRE IT TOWARDS THE RENZOKU RING!  THEN I'LL COMBINE OUR GREATEST MOVES FOR OUR FINAL ENERGY BLAST, I'LL ADD MY LAST RESORT MOVE, AND COMBINE, AND FIRE IT!  I KNOW WE CAN WIN, BUT I NEED YOUR HELP NOW!  PLEASE, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THIS EARTH, FIRE YOUR GREATEST MOVE IN THE RENZOKU RING!"

The blue ring came out of the ground and appeared infront of Romku.  Will the others help him out for this last resort move?!

The ground around her screamed in the torturous darkness forced upon it.  The Earth was in pain.  Shajde showed no emotion, her power still glowing around her.  The grass for a few feet around her retained its healthy green color, but beyond that was darkness and despair.

Her massive charge had hardly been spent on her last attack.  Most of the power had been borrowed from other lives and deaths.  It could not truly be replicated, but copied....

Echohce, she intoned.  Her body blazed brightly for a few moments as the enchantment recalled the last attack she had used, and the full power of the Earth's Hope was returned.  This time, rather than direct transferrence, she poured the energy into the form of a great sphere of energy and threw it up to Romku's Renzoku Ring.  Let him use the power if he felt it would help.  She had to worry about protecting her world.

Unsure of her ability to defend against attacks, though she knew she could destroy easily most anything with nearly half of her power available to her, she instead chose a retaliatory preparation.  Kneeling, she settled her hands over the grassy surface of the earth.  Small streams of green light reached out like transparent vines, slowly wrapping around her arms and up over her body.  Empathetic Atonement, she whispered.  She was drawn down to the earth, true vines coming forth to entwine themselves around her.  She would become part of the Earth's soul.  If the Ultima Cannon succeeded in reaching the world, she would take the full force of the attack into herself.  At the same time, the power of atonement would channel her pain back up toward the entity which caused it, effectively firing Taio's attack back at him with the power of Earth behind it.

It wasn't that she didn't trust the power of her companions, she just wanted to make sure Taio's threat would end here and now.  Her eyes became a deep, rich brown, and her thoughts were gone.  She could only wait, now.

Sage didn't really have a strongest move, so he shot a series of two spells into the Renzoku Ring. A few Sirocco's and Typhoon's later he landed next to where Shajde had vanished, planting his feet on the ground. If the attack got through he would try to destroy it before it hit the earth.

"Come through for us Romku.......I believe in you." he said, sheathing his sword.

Takaros sends a couple of his defense moves.

Jareth looked at romku and then at taio jareth then fired a giant fire egale with a 50 foot wing span,  jareth jumped on the back of the bird and sent it to he rensoku ring jareth lept off and landed  by romku. jareth watched as his bird melded with the rensoku ring and jareth then fired his flame chaion assult right at the ring and watch as they also were taken up like matter in a black hole.
"i hope this works" jareth spoke silently to himself.
jareth prepared another attack that could kill him if he was off his mark.\n\n

Takaros speaks from within the Rensuko Ring, "You have done well enough Jareth.  Now is it time for the ring to be launched Romku?" His face from within looks over at him.

Romku had a tear fall from his eye.  It was truly now or nothing now.

"Everyone, I won't let you down.  ULTIMA SPIRIT, COMBINE THE OTHER SPIRITS AND GRANT ME YOUR POWER!  THEN CAST SACRED POWER!"

Romku wanted to go all the way with this next attack.  The spirits left Romku's body and flew towards the sky.  The colors flashed all around as the Ultima Spirit was created.  A colorful flash blinded the warriors, and the Ultima Spirit was created.  The new spirit joined Romku's body, powering him up to new heights.  Sacred Power started to kick in.  A holy powerup was made and Romku now looked like a golden warrior.  Romku was now the Sacred Ultima Spirit!!  Romku pulled out the Guardian's Crest, a bracelet that powered up Romku's spirits only in time of great need.  Romku's power was multiplied to great heights, and Romku then added some new attacks to the Renzoku Ring.  The ring was glowing with great energy.  Romku then got into his stance.

"WARRIOR'S LAST CANNON, FIRE, THEN COMBINE WITH THE RENZOKU RING AND FIRE!!"

Romku started to gather all of the energy he had.  Romku was ready for his last attack.  Romku was getting fierce as the energy started to build up in him.  Romku finally gathered all of his energy into his hands.  Romku then fired the fierce cannon into the Renzoku Ring.  Romku was exhausted from the energy blast, but he had to finish what he started.  The Renzoku Ring combined all of the energy that was in the Renzoku Ring, including the powers of Jareth, Takaros, Shajde, and Sage.  Too much was riding on this blast, Romku couldn't lose.  The Renzoku Ring started to open up, and the energy was ready to fire.  Romku shed another tear.

"TAIO!  YOU WILL NOW SUFFER FROM YOUR OWN EVIL WAYS!  PREPARE TO LOSE!  RENZOKU RING, FIRE NOW!"

Romku fired the Renzoku Ring, making a large beam of energy fire at the Ultima Cannon.  The beam was fierce, energy bolts were blasting from the beam itself and it tore up the ground before it went on its true path.  The beam finally made contact with the Ultima Cannon.  The energies pushed eachother back and forth and seemed like a tie game.  What would happen now?

As Takaros was headed towards the ball of energy in the energy ball.  This is now or never Takaros, time to realease your power.

"ENERGY! COMBINE!"  Takaros yells within the energy beam.  The beam started to merge into the great ball, and both made no movement at all.  Ugh.. this is not so.. easy..

Takaros glows within brighter then both things of energy, as some of the energy, seems to go into him.  He still tries to draw everything within him, though, it may take a few minutes for this to work.  He sets a shield around both things of energy, shielding it from any effects that either may go wrong or right.  "Energy, come within me!"

The Ultima Cannon Taio fired was dueling with Romku's Renzoku Ring.  The energies clashed back and forth, like playing tug of war.  Suddenly, something unexpected to Taio happened.  The Renzoku Ring blast bounced back Taio's Ultima Cannon, sending it to the skies, never to return.  The blast from the Renzoku Ring fired towards Taio.

"Well, that's the end of it."

Taio gets blasted with the immense Romku and the others gathered.  An explosion sounds and smoke covers the arena.  Taio could be seem, falling to the ground, his clothes torn, along with his pride.  The five warriors surround Taio, who is laying on the ground.

"Taio, do you give up now?"

"Alright.  I thought that you warriors could lose to me in battle, but you have proved me wrong.  You warriors are among the strongest I have seen.  Sage, Jareth, Shajde, Takaros, and of course Romku, you all have beaten me in battle.  I honestly surrender to you all.  I'm sorry for all the trouble I have caused you.  I will stop taking souls and be born anew."

Taio floated off the ground.  All of the others watched on as something was happening to Taio.  Taio black clothes turnes dark red, his hair grew a little shorter, but it's still black, spiky hair.  His evil energy vanished in the air, and now his energy was replaced with neutral energy, but with the same power as he had.  Taio was now a new-born good guy.  Taio had a tear fall from his eye.

"Thank you all again.  You truly are the strongest warriors in the universe.  I swear to you all now that I am now good.  I have to do one thing though, I have to go train to become a better good guy.  If you guys could beat me, I am shown that I'm not the strongest.  I must go train to become stronger so I can have a rematch with you someday.  For now, let's relax.  We had a hard, immense battle."

The warriors lay on the ground, staring at the sky, relaxing and gaining their energy back.
