Reviews for My Books — Halo's stories!
Well, seeing as I'm not done with my books yet, I'll just post a small review of the first book, wait a while, post a poll for the second one, wait a while, post one for the third, and so on until the end of the series.  This is all from my imagination, so any coincidence to real life incidents is purely coincidential.  Disclaimer:  All names, other than Halo and Romku, are FFF names.  These are ONLY used for the FFF version and not the real thing.  It's like FFFOC:  it's a beta!  So don't expect really cool names or anything.  You'll notice some similarities to actual FFF chars:  don't worry, this is only the FFF version, the real thing, although not different, will contain some sub-plots that resemble the FFF characters that are in there.  This is because I thought that they would be really interesting to capture into a book and expand the subplots, wether they are used by the real people or not.  If the original char's creator wishes to use these subplots created, but not induced by the stories, they are more than welcome to do so, but to all those out there who think I should've asked, I would, but I note for about the fifth time now:  this is beta, some things will change, but mostly not.  Names will definitely be changed, but some subplots or storylines will not.  Now, onto the review!

Ok, here it is...STORY #1!

Characters introduced:

Halo
Romku Tetsulian (with permission)
Shajde Jadeye
Shjade Nexyre
Dracus
Galdrus
Taio Sunaki (with permission)
Galgor

Histories:

Halo:  Comes from 700 years ago, in the medieval times, when his race dominated over all other races.  His race was superior in all aspects.  His father was none other than the LEGENDARY Halo, who was the second-to-last to fall to Dracus's vampiric abilities, his mother being the first.
He was frozen in a magical ice crystal and had accumulated enough energy in the 700 years to melt the ice and was adopted  by a nearby family.  He is the last of his race, which makes him more than worth the power he's got.  The race was human, but distinctly more powerful.  Magic was more prominent and physical power rivaled that of the mighty titans.  He is now seeking to destroy Dracus, reclaim his race's power, and avenge his mother and fathers' deaths.

Romku Tetsulian:
He is Halo's best friend and friendly rival.  He was adopted by his long-time master, who was killed by Taio (not official yet, have some clearing up to do on that).  He now seeks the Spirits and to defeat Taio.  He also wants to keep up with Halo on a competitive level.  Although older in life, Romku is considerably weaker in the beginning, but gradually starts to rival Halo's power as he aquires more spirits.

Shajde Jadeye:
She joins Halo at the very beginning of his quest because of his concern for her during her battle with her evil sister, Shjade Nexyre.  While her past may be shrouded in mystery, it has become clear that she has fallen in love with Halo because of his compassion and courage.  She has gradually improved her personality by hanging out with Halo, which, inevitably, has made her much more powerful than before.  She has even reached new levels of power that she didn't know existed because of him!  She is willing to follow him out of love and respect for him, as his considerable courage and power are nearly overwhelming.

Shjade Nexyre:
Much like her sister, Shajde, her past is clouded in mystery.  She ran at the sight of Halo, taking him for his father.  She eventually runs into him again and, due to certain events between then and the first time they met.  She eventually joins him and is persuaded by Shajde into staying.  She learns more about herself and releases a hidden power that she didn't even know whe had!  She, too, is in love with him, but not as much as Shajde.  She often flirts with Halo just to get her sister's reaction, but more so than not, just to get him to pay attention to her and not Shajde.  She has lost most of her evil, but some still remains, which leaves Halo with indecision about her future as an ally.

Dracus:
All that's known about Dracus is that he was oncec a powerful knight of the same race as Halo.  However, one run-in with Galgor turned him into a vampire working for him.  Dracus's powerful vampiric abilities are seemingly multiplied by Galgor's control.  His bodyguard, Galdrus, is a being of all the masses of the people Dracus has drained, including Halo's father!  Dracus has also been linked to many extinct races and plots against the universe.

Galdrus:
He has no history.  He merely serves as Dracus's bodyguard.  He does have a higher IQ than Galgor, but is easily defeated due to his weak defense against magic and chi.

Taio Sunaki:
He only makes one appearance in the story: to challenge Romku as Halo and Romku meet up later in the book.

Galgor:
The ultimate evil.  Unmatched in power and evil, he cannot be defeated.  He has killed quadrillions and destroyed many galaxies.  He plans to dominate the universe and use its strongest warriors to guard his dimension.  He has existed since the beginning of time.  He is even more powerful than all the warriors in the galaxy put together.  He has taken particular interest, however, in a young, new champion:  Halo!

Plot:
Halo's story begins with his first encounter and goes to the defeat of Galdrus.  In the beginning, he is rather weak and cannot stand up to much.  He meets a couple of girls fighting and befriends one, Shajde, and journey's with her.  Later on, they find out about his master's disappearance and the link to Dracus.  Halo and Shajde set out to find out more, but first visit Romku, who is then challenged by Taio Sunaki to a battle, so there was little help Romku could give.  A little later down the line, they meet up with Shjade and she joins them in order to defeat Dracus, who had depleted some of her power.  They travel to Dracus's castle and fight their way up to him, only to find out that Galdrus could only be defeated by Halo and his chi attacks.  Halo defeats Galdrus who tells them about Galgor's plan and Dracus's escape to report to Galgor.  The trio then set out to take out Dracus himself...once and for all.

Minor Discussion:
Shajde and Shjade learn to cope with their differences towards the end and that both of them must help Halo in order to accomplish their goals.  They also learn that just because they start out stronger than someone else doesn't mean that they will always reign supreme.  Halo learns that not everything can be good.  He also finds out more about his past and the tragic events that led up to it.

Well, that's it.  More to come, of course!  This is just a sample of what's to come.  We've still got books 2 and 3.  Bye-bye!
