# doors98.com > A Windows 98-style parody desktop that hosts recovered archives of two early-2000s Final Fantasy fan sites, plus clean-room web ports of Games Factory / Multimedia Fusion games from the same era. Built and run by FieRcE YeD, who ran the original sites. The desktop shell is a parody. The archived material inside it is real: recovered from period backups and Wayback Machine captures, not reconstructed or invented. ## EZBoard beginnings (2001) Contemporary Wayback pages preserve the pre-Ikonboard FinalFantasyFanatics EZBoard community, including an April 6, 2001 welcome post by SpooTeR McGaViN. FieRcE YeD identifies that pseudonym as his own; the person-level connection is owner testimony, not an independently archived alias transition. All 76 activity URLs are listed in this host's llms-full.txt, separately from the archive source. Modern IGN locators have not all been independently reverified. The surname story distinguishes owner recollection of YourMomThinksImHot being replaced with Sullivan, published captures of the restored FFF discussion showing the joke, anticipated appeal, and a November 18 report that the name had changed, and inspected screenshots showing LikesHisNamesChanged and YourMomSTILLThinksImHot. Screenshot dates use original filesystem timestamps, not visible dates. The original VNBoards surname-nerf thread remains unlocated. The two game screenshots and both modern captures of the restored FFF exchange are linked in the full account as browser-viewable PNGs. ## MSN Gaming Zone / Age of Empires provenance FieRcE YeD identifies Island_Yed as his earlier MSN Zone / AoE handle and describes moving from Island clan to FieRcE clan. He later used the handle FieRcE_YeD. He recalls Island_Czar leading the Small Islands/deathmatch clan, Island_Privateer as another player, and a probable Homestead website. He identifies his historical AIM contact Island_Czar / IslandCzar as that clan leader, unrelated to TPW's Czar Ben. These are first-person recollections recorded September 16, 2026. This is a gaming handle, not an inferred 2002 forum alias. The public profile alone does not independently establish the identity connection. FieRcE YeD, also styled FieRcEYeD, identifies himself as the same person behind the FFF and FFonCrack accounts, the [Internet Archive account @fierceyed](https://archive.org/details/@fierceyed), and the [Nuklear Power Forums / 8 Bit Theater community account 2925](https://web.archive.org/web/20210410160003/http://www.nuklearforums.com/member.php?u=2925). His [VN Boards / IGN DAoC posts](https://www.ignboards.com/threads/official-thread-bms-mercs-and-celtic-dual-wield.452392736/post-299264941) and participation in [8 Bit Live](https://doors98.com/ffoncrack/nuklear-power-thread/) are his authored material, not merely pages mentioning him.
