The restored FinalFantasyFanatic.com website is the final downloaded copy from before the site went offline in November 2002. Its archival edition went live on September 5, 2026. This is the website itself — game pages, music and movie listings, shopping pages, fan projects, and Hobbes' editorials — separate from the forum database snapshots and the living forum.

The original HTML4-era page structure, table layouts, and artwork survive where available. Modern restoration work repairs image and text encoding problems while retaining historical browser rendering modes. Yellow banners and cloud notes distinguish the 2002 material from present-day explanations; this is not an exact emulation of Internet Explorer in 2002.
The original music, movies, and other downloads are not being reuploaded. Where surviving MKStats reports identify a file, its listing links to that traffic evidence instead of a download. Assets hosted on the separate .net domain have no corresponding preserved stats here and may be lost. Missing images are marked "Image lost."
Hobbes' editorials carry the same location redactions as their standalone editions, with click-only icons explaining the privacy changes. The public historical notes collect the annotations, transcripts, and sources in ordinary readable HTML and text, without requiring tooltip clicks.
