Like Windows 95/98 and XP show the logged-in user at the top of the Start menu, the Doors 98 Begin menu shows the logged-in user at the top: FieRcE YeD, creator of Doors 98 and the original administrator of FinalFantasyFanatic.com. The avatar beside the name is his real member avatar, taken from his FFonCrack.com member profile (March 2003).

Clicking the user pops a speech balloon containing a real, verbatim forum post he wrote — chosen at random from his authentic writing across three eras of the community: the early Ikonboard 2.1.9 board (early 2002), the November 2002 snapshot, and the modern revived live forum. Each balloon links back to the exact thread the quote came from. Every line is genuine — original spelling and typos preserved, nothing fabricated.
