 Terra
Terra is the first character the player is introduced to. She has lost her
memory and is trying to discover who she really is. Terra has no idea what is so
special about nor does she know how she is able to freely cast "magic."
 Locke
Locke is a well know thief or "treasure hunter" as he would say. Locke is a very
dependable guy who try's to protect every female he comes across. Rumor has it
that Locke protects females because a tragic episode in his past.
 Edgar
Edgar is the young king of the kingdom of Figaro. On the surface he pretends to
be allies with the empire but in reality Edgar is in contact with the Returners,
an organization against the empire.
 Shadow
Shadow is a dark, mysterious ninja. His only companion is his dog, Interceptor.
Shadow owes allegiance to no one and will do anything for money. He comes and
goes like the wind.
 Sabin
Sabin is Edgar's twin brother. When they were younger Sabin decided to leave the
stress of royalty and study martial arts under Duncan.
 Celes
Celes is a former imperial soldier with the heart as gentle as snow. Locke
stumbles upon her when sneaking around in the biggest house of South Figaro.
Locke rescues her without a thought and Celes joins the Returners.
 Cyan
Cyan is the strongest knight of the medieval town of Doma. After a cowardice
attack on Doma, Cyan is the last survivor of Doma. Cyan seeks revenge against
the empire for this attack.
 Gau
Gau is a wild child of 13 years old. He has grown with monsters in the Veldt, a
region of were all the monsters of the world migrate. Gau has no recollection of
his human parents, but rumors suggest that his father left him for dead when he
was very young.
 Mog
Mog is a strong and warm hearted moogle, a species that live in Narshe's mines.
Mog likes to have fun and dance. Mog helped Locked to protect Terra when Narshe
guards tried to capture her.
 Setzer
Setzer is a rich, gambling man that owns the only airship in the world. He loves
to see operas at the Opera House. In fact, Setzer has a little crush on the lead
actress in the Opera.
 Strago
Strago is an old man that lives in the quaint yet mysterious town of Thamasa.
There he is with his granddaughter, Relm. Strago is kind hearted and loving of
everyone.
 Relm
Relm is Strago's granddaughter. She is a fantastic artist who loves to paint.
Relm has an attitude with everything, but what can be expected from a 10 year
old?
 Umaro
Umaro is a yeti that lives in the Narshe Mines. People rarely seen him, and
moogles are afraid of him. Umaro's hobby is collecting "shiny stones" and hiding
them in his den.
 Gogo
Gogo is the master mimic who lives deep inside of Triangle Island. Gogo's
idenity is a mystery. Gogo is so mysterious no one even knows his/her gender.
